Position: ITI-Certified Electrician
Location: Varies based on project location

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and distribution panels.
• Set up temporary electrical connections for construction sites as per project requirements.
• Test and commission electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all work complies with Indian electrical standards and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical hazards.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
• Project Support:
• Collaborate with site engineers and supervisors to execute electrical works as per project timelines.
• Assist in interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Provide support in electrical system design and modifications as required.
• Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including faults in circuits, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime on construction equipment.
• Material Management:
• Maintain an inventory of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Ensure proper use and storage of materials to avoid wastage or damage.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain records of electrical works, including installations, repairs, and inspections.
• Report progress and challenges to the project manager or site supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrician Trade.
• Experience: 2-8 years (Experience in civil construction projects preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.
• Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment like multimeters and insulation testers.
• Soft Skills:
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to work in varied and challenging environments.

Key Requirements:

• Willingness to work at construction sites across different locations in India.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations applicable in India.
• Physical fitness for handling electrical installations in demanding conditions.
