PMS Software Developer

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled PMS Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly Planned Maintenance System (PMS) software solutions.
• You will work closely with product managers, implementation teams, and end users (both technical and non-technical) to deliver reliable applications that support complex maintenance and operational workflows,primarily in the maritime or hospitality sectors

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy PMS software modules and features
• Customize PMS solutions based on client requirements and industry regulations
• Integrate PMS with third-party systems such as ERP, inventory, procurement, or IoT platforms
• Maintain and enhance legacy systems while contributing to new software architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, Implementation) for smooth releases.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical planning
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or Python
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL,)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services, and system integrations
• Hands-on experience with PMS or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is highly preferred
• Familiarity with maritime or hospitality industry standards and workflows is a plus
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in maritime software
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree is a plus but not required
