Job Role
The Senior Performance Management Specialist will enhance performance management initiatives by analyzing metrics, coordinating with department heads, and mentoring junior team members. This role involves overseeing performance reviews, preparing documentation, and facilitating Performance Improvement Plans. The specialist will also engage employees, optimize performance management systems, and contribute to a positive feedback culture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving organizational effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Gather and ensure daily KPIs from employees or managers related to performance and input them into the HR system.
- Track employee progress toward performance goals and report any issues to the senior HR team.
- Address basic inquiries from employees regarding the performance review process.
- Update employee performance data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and currency of records.
- Analyze weekly performance metrics and identify key trends or issues for the senior HR team.
- Assist in preparing documentation for employees on Performance Improvement Plans. Coordinate with department heads to provide necessary performance data and support for reviews.
- Prepare weekly performance reports for senior HR executives and department managers. Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss ongoing performance initiatives and updates. Help organize and conduct monthly performance review meetings between managers and employees.
- Analyze monthly performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. Distribute and manage monthly employee feedback surveys regarding performance and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the learning and development team to address training needs identified in performance reviews.
- Compile detailed monthly performance reports for the HR leadership team.
- Analyze quarterly performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Attend quarterly meetings to review past performance and plan for the upcoming quarter. Participate in training sessions and stay updated with tools and technologies used daily. Assist in setting up or updating performance management tools or software.
- Help launch new performance management programs, including updated appraisal systems or goal-setting frameworks.
- Train and onboard employees or managers on new performance evaluation systems or tools.
- Assist in planning and executing company-wide employee satisfaction or performance surveys.
- Experience in organizing training sessions and performance review meetings.
