Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumbing Engineer to design, plan, and oversee plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and materials, along with hands-on experience in execution, inspection, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare plumbing layouts, drawings, and schematics as per project requirements.
• Calculate pipe sizes, water flow, pressure, and drainage systems.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems on-site.
• Ensure compliance with relevant plumbing codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, mechanical, and electrical teams for integrated project design.
• Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Prepare cost estimates, material lists, and project documentation.
• Supervise plumbing technicians and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing Engineering (or equivalent).
• 6–7 years of hands-on experience in plumbing design, installation, and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of water supply systems, drainage systems, and fire-fighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Understanding of local building codes and plumbing standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-rise or commercial building projects.
• Knowledge of green building and water conservation systems.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
