Job Summary

The Plumbing & FF BIM Modeler is responsible for developing accurate Building Information Models for plumbing and fire protection systems using BIM software. The role supports design coordination, clash detection, quantity take-offs, and construction documentation in line with project standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed

  BIM models

  for Plumbing and Firefighting systems (water supply, drainage, sewer, rainwater, sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, etc.).
• Prepare

  LOD 300–500

  models as per project requirements.
• Generate

  shop drawings

  , layout drawings, sections, and details from BIM models.
• Perform

  clash detection and coordination

  with other disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Structural, Architectural).
• Update models based on design changes, RFIs, and site feedback.
• Extract

  BOQs, material take-offs, and schedules

  from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with

  local and international codes

  (NFPA, NBC, IPC, UPC, etc.).
• Participate in coordination meetings and resolve BIM-related issues.
• Maintain BIM standards, naming conventions, and model documentation.
• Support as-built drawings and handover models.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering field

• 3–6 years

  of experience in Plumbing & FF BIM modelling (experience range can be adjusted).
