Job Description

You will be part of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team as a proactive and technically skilled Teamcenter Support / PLM Consultant. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support for the Siemens Teamcenter application. Your responsibilities will include handling user queries, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with development teams, and delivering user training. Your strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage and mentor support team members effectively will be crucial in this role. You will lead and mentor support team members to resolve issues related to the Teamcenter PLM application. Providing first-line and second-line support to users will be essential to ensure prompt resolution of incidents and queries, minimizing downtime and avoiding escalations. As a single point of contact for critical issue management, you will handle high-priority support requests and coordinate special case testing for patch or release updates. Collaborating with end-users and stakeholders to gather business requirements, prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and liaising with development teams for accurate implementation will be part of your responsibilities. Delegating and monitoring tasks within the support team to ensure on-time task delivery and alignment with support SLAs is also expected. You will conduct training sessions for users on Teamcenter custom processes and functionalities to enhance end-user capability and system adoption. Active participation in testing and validation of custom modules and Teamcenter enhancements in line with business priorities will be required. Additionally, preparing and maintaining documentation related to issue resolution, training materials, and knowledge base articles for knowledge transfer and future reference will be part of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter support or PLM consulting roles. A strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, custom modules, workflows, and data models is essential. Experience in working with cross-functional teams, creating clear and concise documentation, handling production issues, and providing impact analysis is required. Proficiency in communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills is crucial. Experience with Teamcenter version upgrades, patch deployments, and system configuration is a plus.
