Job Title: PLC Engineer Instrumentation & Control Systems Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated PLC Engineer Instrumentation & Control Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in industrial water treatment plants. Key Responsibilities Instrumentation & Control Program, configure, and test PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems for process automation and control. Develop and implement control strategies as per project requirements. Interpret P&IDs, control logic, and instrumentation schematics. Installation & Commissioning Supervise the installation and commissioning of instrumentation systems in water and wastewater treatment plants. Conduct site surveys, prepare instrumentation layouts, and coordinate with engineering and project teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company specifications. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and testing of field instruments. Identify and resolve faults in control systems and instrumentation hardware. Provide on-site and remote support for ongoing operations. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related engineering discipline. 25 years of relevant experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. Familiarity with major PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.). Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. Willingness to travel for site work as needed.
