Job Description

SUMMARY
Job Title: Platform Tools Engineer
About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Tools Engineer with strong experience in Python, API integration, and DevOps practices, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have solid communication and coordination skills, and a working knowledge of microservices architecture. You’ll play a key role in supporting our on-premises platform tools and collaborating across teams to ensure smooth operations and proactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide ongoing support for on-premises Platform Tools (Orkes, DecisionRules, FormIO, etc).
Collaborate with Tool Leads, vendors, and internal Vialto teams to ensure tool reliability and performance.
Partner with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team for regular deployments and upgrades.
Ensure timely resolution of issues and perform proactive maintenance to prevent disruptions.
Coordinate across teams to support platform tool enhancements and integrations.
Update and maintain Azure DevOps Pipelines for Platform Tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development.
Strong experience with API design and integration.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Hands - on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD and version control.
Solid understanding of Azure services and infrastructure.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting on-premises infrastructure in enterprise environments.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
Knowledge of DevOps best practices and automation strategies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
