Job Description

As a Platform Support Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, you will be a developing subject matter expert who provides excellent customer service and applies technical knowledge to support various processes. You will work with Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Event, Configuration, Asset, Service Catalogue, Knowledge, and Service Portal, as well as custom scoped applications for enterprise-wide business processes. Key Responsibilities: - Providing support to users/administrators of the company platform - Supporting and contributing to the growth of best practices for delivery of support services - Ensuring understanding of the platform, Cloud technologies, and troubleshooting practices for successful resolution of technical challenges - Acting as a customer advocate by prioritizing and managing assigned incidents and escalations - Collaborating with cross-functional teams like operations and engineering to enhance tools and processes for quicker issue resolution - Performing any other related tasks as required To thrive in this role, you need to have: - Developing knowledge of cloud/web application components - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues - Exposure to network monitoring connectors such as SCOM, Solarwinds etc. - Understanding of SNMP traps and MIBs/OIDs - Ability to modify basic XML, JSON, Regular Expressions (RegEx) - Understanding of protocols like HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, and REST - Object-oriented programming skills (Java strongly preferred) - Good understanding of database concepts - Understanding of ITSM, CMDB, and ITIL business processes - Proficiency in analyzing log files and standard debugging concepts - Experience in providing web development support is highly desirable - Familiarity with incident management, knowledgebase, defect, and escalation management tools and practices - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field - Relevant ITIL certification Required Experience: - Moderate level experience providing customer-facing technical support - Moderate level experience working with the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and FSM) - Moderate level experience providing SaaS support is desirable Workplace Type: - Hybrid Working About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a $30+ billion global innovator of business and technology services, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
