Job Description

Role Overview: As a Platform Support Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, you will be a developing subject matter expert responsible for providing excellent customer service and applying technical knowledge to support various processes such as Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Event, Configuration, Asset, Service Catalogue, Knowledge, and Service Portal. You will also work with custom scoped applications to deliver enterprise-wide business processes to NTT customers. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support to users/administrators of the company platform. - Support and contribute to the growth of best practices for delivery of support services. - Ensure understanding of the platform, Cloud technologies, and troubleshooting practices for successful resolution of technical issues. - Act as a customer advocate, prioritizing and managing assigned incidents and escalations. - Engage with cross-functional teams to build, drive, and improve tools and processes for quicker issue resolution. - Perform any other related tasks as required. Qualifications Required: - Developing knowledge of cloud/web application components. - Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues. - Exposure to network monitoring connectors like SCOM, Solarwinds, etc. - Understanding of SNMP traps and MIBs/OIDs. - Ability to modify basic XML, JSON, Regular Expressions (RegEx). - Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, and REST. - Object-oriented programming skills, Java strongly preferred. - Good understanding of database concepts. - Understanding of ITSM, CMDB, and ITIL business processes. - Proficient in analyzing log files and standard debugging concepts. - Experience in providing web development support is highly desirable. - Familiarity with incident management, knowledge base, defect, and escalation management tools and practices. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
