Job Description

About the Role:

Platform Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Reliability & Uptime:
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance across
platform services
.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and implement
monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Incident Management:
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems to continuously improve platform reliability.
Automation & CI/CD:
Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and operational tasks to
increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention
.
Performance Optimization:
Analyze system performance and implement optimizations for
scalability and resource efficiency
.
Collaboration:
Work with
development, QA, and product teams
to ensure reliable deployment and operations of platform services.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain
runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
for platform reliability.
Continuous Improvement:
Advocate and implement
SRE best practices
across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
.
Certifications in
cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools
.
Experience with
high-scale, multi-region distributed systems
.
Familiarity with
chaos engineering, reliability modeling, and incident response frameworks
.
