Job Description

E-Commerce Platform Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

E-commerce Platform Management

  1. Manage day-to-day operations of all e-commerce platforms, including website and marketplaces.
  2. Ensure seamless integration of product information and inventory across all platforms.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to platform functionality.
  4. Oversee platform updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Listing Optimization and Health Monitoring

  1. Optimize product listings for search engines and user experience.
  2. Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and improve product visibility.
  3. Monitor and maintain platform health, including listing quality and compliance.
  4. Implement strategies to improve product ranking and conversion rates.
  5. Ensure all product information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with platform guidelines.
  6. Regularly audit listings to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  1. Analyze e-commerce data using Google Analytics and other tools to identify trends and insights.
  2. Generate regular reports on platform performance, sales, and customer behavior.
  3. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve platform performance.
  4. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards goals.
  5. Conduct A/B testing to optimize product listings and marketing campaigns.
  6. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Marketplace and Website Management

  1. Manage relationships with marketplace partners, including Amazon, Flipkart, and others.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to grow sales on marketplace platforms.
  3. Oversee website content and design to ensure a positive user experience.
  4. Manage website promotions and marketing campaigns.
  5. Ensure website is optimized for mobile devices and search engines.

Product Information Management (PIM)

  1. Maintain a centralized repository of product information, including descriptions, images, and specifications.
  2. Ensure product information is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across all platforms.
  3. Develop and implement processes for managing product information.
  4. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create compelling product content.
  5. Manage product categorization and taxonomy.
  6. Ensure compliance with labeling and regulatory requirements.

E-commerce Strategy and Innovation

  1. Stay up-to-date on the latest e-commerce trends and technologies.
  2. Identify new opportunities to improve platform performance and customer experience.
  3. Develop and implement innovative e-commerce strategies to drive sales growth.
  4. Conduct competitor analysis to identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new e-commerce initiatives.
  6. Contribute to the development of the overall e-commerce strategy.
