Job Description

Position: Plastic Part Designer (TT58ST RM 3791)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop plastic parts using 3D CAD software (CATIA/SolidWorks/NX/Creo)
Create detailed 2D drawings with GDT specifications
Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis for injection molding processes
Collaborate with tooling vendors for mold design reviews
Conduct material selection based on application requirements
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and optimize part designs
Support prototype development and validation testing
Work with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications

Education : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Skills

Experience with Class-A surface design
Knowledge of plastic materials (PP, ABS, PA, PC, POM, etc.)
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP documentation
Exposure to EV/automotive components design
Good communication and problem-solving skills
