Plant Operations Head

As the Plant Operations Head for Ramabhadra's bed-linen range manufacturing unit, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire manufacturing process, ensuring that each order meets quality standards, is delivered on time, and stays within cost targets. In addition to this, you will be expected to focus on enhancing plant efficiency and developing a skilled workforce to drive continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include directing the sewing, finishing, and packing lines for bed-linen products, creating and managing production schedules, maintaining quality control and preventive maintenance systems, as well as collaborating with senior management on capacity expansion and technology upgrades. You will also be tasked with introducing automation and lean tools to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Monitoring output, efficiency, and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be crucial, along with preparing and managing the plant budget to control operational expenses effectively. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in bed-linen or home-textile manufacturing, with a proven track record in production planning, lean implementation, quality systems, and supply-chain optimization. A degree or diploma in Textile Technology or Industrial Engineering is desirable, along with strong commercial acumen, budgeting skills, and excellent communication abilities.
