Job Description

Role: Plant Operations Executive

Location: Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh

Exp: Min 3-5 Years

Contract : 9 Months Projects (Randstad Payroll)

Job Summary:

Plant Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day plant floor activities, ensuring efficient and timely production.
Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams when needed.
Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Maintain records of shift performance, production output, downtime, and material usage.
Coordinate with quality control to ensure finished goods meet required specifications.
Train and guide shop-floor operators and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Ensure proper usage and handling of tools, equipment, and raw materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S and safety practices.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
36 years of experience in plant operations or shop-floor supervision in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of production processes, machine handling, and plant equipment.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, SOPs, and process documents.
Familiarity with ERP systems or production reporting tools is a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage a team effectively.
Willingness to work in shifts as per operational requirements.
