Plant Manager

As an experienced Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operations and maintenance of various plants including Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Demineralization (DM) Plant, and valve systems. Your role will require a strong technical expertise, effective people management skills, and a focus on compliance, safety, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations and maintenance activities of STP, ETP, WTP, DM plants, and valve networks. - Ensure strict adherence to environmental norms, pollution control board guidelines, and safety regulations. - Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime. - Lead a team of engineers, operators, and technicians by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing necessary training. - Track key plant performance indicators such as flow, quality, energy consumption, chemical usage, and downtime to drive continuous process improvements. - Manage the stock of chemicals, spare parts, and consumables; coordinate with procurement for timely availability. - Maintain documentation, statutory records, and prepare MIS reports for management and regulatory submissions. - Identify opportunities for process upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, and cost reduction measures. - Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of STP, ETP, WTP, DM systems, and valve operations. - Previous experience in leadership and team management roles. - Good understanding of safety and compliance standards. - Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving. - Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
