Plant Manager

As a Plant Manager at Starke Concrete Works Pvt Ltd, located in Baruipur, West Bengal, just 20km from Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our concrete pole factory. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the production of high-quality concrete poles for WBSEDCL and its projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Manage All Daily Work:** Oversee the plant's operations comprehensively, from start to finish. - **Run Production:** Ensure efficient and timely production of concrete poles meeting all quality standards. - **Handle Purchasing:** Coordinate the procurement of raw materials such as cement and maintain adequate stock levels. - **Lead the Team:** Manage, guide, and supervise all factory workers effectively. - **Fix & Maintain:** Plan and oversee the maintenance of all machinery and equipment on-site. - **Handle Shipping:** Coordinate final quality checks and dispatch finished concrete poles to WBSEDCL project sites. - **Represent the Company:** Act as the primary point of contact for WBSEDCL inspectors and officials visiting the factory. - **Keep Records:** Supervise daily factory bookkeeping, production data, and inventory records meticulously. **Qualifications Required:** - **3+ Years of Continuous Experience:** Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in managing a manufacturing site full-time, preferably at a mid-size manufacturing unit. - **5+ Years Total Experience:** Possess a minimum of 5 years of overall experience in any manufacturing setting. - **Strong Leadership Skills:** Ability to lead and manage factory staff effectively. **Nice to Have:** - **Construction/Civil Knowledge:** Any background or knowledge in civil work or concrete would be considered a significant advantage.
