Job Summary

We are hiring a Plant Head with strong technical and operational leadership to manage pan-North India manufacturing/engineering sites. The ideal candidate will come from mid-sized engineering or EPC organizations and possess hands-on expertise in design engineering, process optimization, and new product development (NPD) along with plant P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations & Manufacturing

• Head end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and dispatch.
• Manage multiple plants/sites across North India ensuring standardization of processes.
• Drive manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, environmental, and statutory norms.

Design, Process & New Product Development

• Lead design engineering, manufacturing process development, and value engineering.
• Oversee new product development (NPD) from concept, prototyping, trials to mass production.
• Implement process improvements, automation, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma practices.
• Provide technical leadership for root cause analysis, quality improvement, and defect reduction.

People & Site Leadership

• Lead and develop cross-functional teams (production, design, QA/QC, maintenance).
• Drive performance management, training, and capability building.
• Coordinate with corporate engineering, projects, procurement, vendors, and customers.

Strategic & Business Support

• Support leadership in capacity expansion, new plant setup, and capex planning.
• Monitor plant KPIs, budgets, cost controls, and operational excellence metrics.
• Contribute to business growth, operational strategy, and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile must have

• 710 years of experience in manufacturing / engineering / EPC / turnkey project firms
• Experience in large/ mid-sized companies
• Exposure to pan-India or multi-site plant management
• Strong background in design engineering, process engineering, and NPD
• Hands-on leadership with shop-floor and engineering teams

Preferred Skills

• Lean Manufacturing / TPM / Six Sigma
• ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 exposure
• Automation & continuous improvement mindset
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management
