Plant Finance Manager

Your responsibilities will encompass various crucial aspects including supporting month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and conducting variance analysis. You will also play a vital role in managing inventory valuation, optimizing inventory, and ensuring control over receipts and physical verification. Monitoring and controlling plant operating costs, especially regarding labor, overhead, freight, and distribution costs, will be a key focus. Additionally, you will be responsible for tasks related to fixed assets such as capitalization, tagging, and verification. This involves budgeting and tracking capital expenditures. Ensuring accurate product costing, allocation of plant overhead to products, and maintaining the Bill of Material (BoM) will be essential. You will be actively involved in driving cost reduction initiatives and waste elimination to foster growth. Your expertise in SAP S/4HANA is crucial for tasks involving inventory valuation, COGS recording, product costing, labor and overhead allocation, standard costing, and variance analysis. Implementing and upholding financial policies, procedures, and internal controls will be part of your governance responsibilities. Regular review of plant processes to ensure compliance with company policies is imperative. You are an ideal candidate if you hold a CA/CWA qualification with at least 6 years of proven experience in financial management within a plant environment. Demonstrated team management skills, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and analytical prowess are essential. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as SAP/Odoo, along with your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, will be key assets in this role.,
