Plant Engineer

As a Plant Engineer at our ethanol production team, your role involves the efficient and safe operation of the plant, equipment maintenance, and process improvements. You will: - Monitor and control plant operations for maximum efficiency and productivity. - Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment. - Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, equipment failures, and operational problems. - Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and meet production targets. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards. - Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures. - Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks in the plant. Qualifications required for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in ethanol or related industry. - Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, equipment design, and operation. - Experience with process control systems and instrumentation. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred skills for this role: - Experience with ethanol production processes and equipment. - Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (OSHA, etc.). - Familiarity with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
