Job Description:

We are seeking a Planning & QS Engineer with strong technical and analytical skills to join our team in Lonavala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulous planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution.

The role involves managing resources, preparing detailed cost estimates, tracking project progress, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using software such as MS Project.
• Manage project resources, including contractors, supervisors, and materials.
• Track project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with budgeting and resource allocation decisions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
• Communicate effectively between various project teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to management.
• Maintain accurate project documentation — including plans, schedules, and progress records.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Monitor expenditures to identify and control overspending.
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Prepare tender documents, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare Running Account (RA) bills, client bills, and subcontractor/vendor bills as per contract terms.
• Verify quantities from drawings and site execution (measurement sheets, bar bending schedules, etc.).
• Reconcile client and subcontractor quantities and manage variations/deviation claims.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including cost overruns, delays, and contractual issues.

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Solution-oriented and proactive approach.
• Proficiency in MS Project for planning.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, rate analysis, and project budgeting.
