We are seeking a dynamic Group Head Programmatic Media Planning for the Amazon XCM team. This role is ideal for a digital media expert with 59 years of hands-on programmatic planning experience, ready to drive campaign excellence for Amazon XCM. Planning Initiatives:
You will lead the programmatic media planning process for A.in, Amazon Pay and Amazon Fresh, continuously refining audience targeting and developing channel mixes that align with campaign KPIs.

Campaign Excellence:
You will oversee the execution and optimization of campaigns across major DSPs, including DV360, The Trade Desk, and Google Ads, ensuring each campaign meets its performance, pacing, and targeting objectives.

Team Mentoring:
As a mentor to a team of planners, you will provide training on planning tools, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster cross-brand learning to elevate team capabilities.

Data & Insights:
You will analyze campaign data to generate actionable audience insights, drive advanced reporting, and translate learnings into strategic recommendations for future campaigns.

Innovation:
You will champion innovative campaign approaches by leveraging new beta features, inventory sources, and technology integrations to keep Amazon XCM at the forefront of digital media.

Governance & Efficiency:
You will be responsible for ensuring budget accuracy, comprehensive campaign documentation, and implementing SOPs, templates, and QA processes for efficient and scalable campaign delivery.
- With 5-9 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications.
- Understanding of Media TV, Print, Radio & Digital Display.
- Industry Software Knowledge & usage BARC, Yumi, IRS, TGI, MAP.
- Understanding of digital tools like ComScore, Multi-screen planning, etc
- An Innovative Approach : in use of media, exploration of new forms of media and communication .
- Understanding of brand and performance objectives.
- Strong business process mapping, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to question & challenge team at all levels with confidence, to arrive at a clear and unambiguous view of requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills .
- Meticulous process & execution management
- Proactiveness in address and escalate when needed, on any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Postgraduate is a plus.
- Agency experience is preferred.
