Planner

**Role Overview:** As a Project Scheduler at Emerson, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the Project Manager and Resource Manager. You will be tasked with developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, preparing monthly progress reports, resource loading, and forecasting reports. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop level four project schedules using work breakdown structure, resource assignment, and work hours budget in a scheduling tool. - Maintain project schedules by collecting progress data, updating schedules, and implementing status reports. - Analyze, evaluate, and forecast the current project status against the baseline schedule. - Perform variance analysis, support project manager with change orders, and develop catch-up plans using crashing and fast-tracking methodologies. - Report the status of actual work hours against the budgeted hours and compare physical progress with actual hours spent to calculate burn rate. - Provide resource requirements using scheduling techniques and histograms. - Generate progress measurement and S curves to compare the current status with the baseline plan. - Support Resource Managers with resource planning and forecasting. - Supervise organization-level metrics related to resource utilization and demand forecasting. - Coordinate with the project team and conduct collaboration meetings. - Identify and update risks on the project, update risk register, and work on risk response strategies with the project team. - Help project manager monitor actual cost against budget, highlight changes to gross profit, trigger invoicing status, and manage cash flow. **Qualifications Required:** - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Good analytical skills and action-oriented mindset. - Flexibility to learn new things and understand different cultures. **Company Details:** Emerson prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
