About the Role

Placement Readiness Coach

You won’t just teach — you’ll coach, critique, challenge, and celebrate breakthroughs. Think TED Talk meets coding dojo meets HR war room.

📋 Key Responsibilities

As the Placement Readiness Coach, you will:

✅ Deliver Interactive Workshops on:

  • HR & Behavioral Interview Techniques (STAR Method, “Tell Me About Yourself,” situational questions)
  • Group Discussion Strategies & Facilitation
  • Corporate Communication (Email, Virtual Etiquette, Professional Presence)
  • Personal Branding Review (Resume, LinkedIn, GitHub — feedback-focused, not creation)

✅ Conduct & Evaluate Mock Interviews:

  • Lead minimum two 1-on-1 recorded mock HR interviews per student with personalized written feedback reports.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer mock interviews and guide constructive feedback exchange.

✅ Guide Technical Interview Readiness:

  • Explain MAANG-style interview structures and online assessment patterns.
  • Conduct live DSA practice sessions (Beginner & Intermediate levels) — focus on problem-solving approach, not advanced coding.
  • Lead System Design Fundamentals sessions (conceptual level) with mock interview practice.

✅ Drive Student Engagement & Confidence:

  • Maintain high energy and motivation across 6+ hour daily sessions.
  • Provide real-time, constructive, and encouraging feedback.
  • Support students in building a final “Personal Brand Showcase”.

🧑‍🏫 Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who:

✔️ Has 3+ years of experience conducting campus placement training, interview prep, or corporate soft skills workshops — preferably with engineering/tech students.

✔️ Is comfortable with technical concepts — understands DSA fundamentals, system design basics, and modern tech hiring processes (MAANG, startups, product companies).

✔️ Is an exceptional communicator, facilitator, and feedback-giver — able to simplify complex ideas and coach nervous students with empathy and clarity.

✔️ Can manage high-volume 1:1 mock interviews (for 30–50+ students) while maintaining quality and personalization.

✔️ Is available full-time, onsite .
