Job Description

Role Overview

The Placement Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong industry connections to facilitate campus placements, internships, and career opportunities for students. The role demands excellent networking, communication, and organizational skills to bridge the gap between students and recruiters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Industry Connect & Placement Drive
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, HR managers, and industry leaders.
  • Identify and invite recruiters for campus placement drives, internship programs, and guest lectures.
  • Coordinate pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews.
  • Student Training & Guidance
  • Conduct career counseling, mock interviews, aptitude tests, and resume-building workshops.
  • Mentor students on interview skills, corporate etiquette, and professional communication.
  • Track student progress and prepare them for industry requirements.
  • Placement Operations
  • Organize campus recruitment drives and ensure smooth coordination between recruiters and students.
  • Maintain and update the placement database, employer contacts, and student records.
  • Prepare placement reports, MIS, and analyze placement statistics.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with faculty, alumni, and industry experts to create opportunities for students.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to align curriculum with industry expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management, HR, Education, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in training & placement, recruitment, or corporate relations (experience in an educational institution preferred).

  • Number of students placed in reputed organizations.
  • Quality and diversity of recruiters engaged.
  • Student satisfaction and industry feedback.
  • Effective organization of placement-related activities.

Important:

This is a stipend-based opportunity with deferred payment after 6 months. All details, roles, expectations, and payout structures will be clearly documented in a legal agreement before onboarding.
