Job Description – Placement Coordinator

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

One-Time Activities

· Develop a strategy to reach companies and generate job opportunities.

· Coordinate and share knowledge to improve the placement process.

· Explore and implement different tools to increase efficiency of the placement process.

· Explore and implement different job portals such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Telegram, etc. to generate leads.

Daily Activities

· Conduct market research to identify potential employers, industries for placement opportunities, industry trends, and hiring needs.

· Gather feedback from industry partners to inform respective trainers for curriculum development.

· Assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract new employers and expand our network of hiring partners.

· Collaborate with the placement team to create targeted outreach campaigns and initiatives to connect students with potential employers.

· Engage in prospecting activities such as cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate leads for job opportunities.

· Assist in organizing and participating in recruitment events, job fairs, and employer networking sessions.

· Perform cold calling and mailing to acquire new clients and track employer databases.

· Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance employer acquisition efforts.

· Generate new opportunities and share with the placement coordinator. Take daily follow-ups from companies.

Weekly Activities

· Prepare a weekly report on placement-related activities.

· Prepare a weekly report on the number of vacancies identified, interviews scheduled, candidates who appeared, and candidates selected.

· Set weekly targets for vacancies generated vs. placements achieved and ensure target completion.

Monthly Activities

· Prepare a monthly report on placement-related activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹440,000.00 per year
