Al Pomodoro is a well-known Italian restaurant in Anjuna, Goa, recognised for quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. As we expand our team, we are looking for a motivated Pizza Chef to join our kitchen.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Pizza Chef who is passionate about cooking and eager to learn. You can be experienced or a fresher with basic kitchen knowledge — we will train you. The ideal candidate is disciplined, quick, and committed to producing high-quality pizzas during service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas with consistency and attention to detail.
• Hand-stretch dough (training will be provided for freshers).
• Assist in dough preparation, portioning, and toppings.
• Operate and manage stone-deck / wood-fired ovens (training provided).
• Handle mise-en-place and maintain daily prep for the pizza section.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team during service.
• Support menu development and seasonal specials when required.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience (freshers with basic kitchen knowledge are welcome).
• Enthusiasm for cooking and willingness to learn pizza techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, discipline, and teamwork.
• Understanding of hygiene & food safety (or willingness to learn).
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
