Role Overview

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality drinks, warm hospitality, and efficient bar operations. This role requires strong product knowledge, consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Greet guests warmly and engage with them in a friendly, professional manner.
• Recommend cocktails, wines, and beverages based on guest preferences.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere at the bar at all times.

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare classic cocktails, signature drinks, and coffee/tea beverages with consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and taste.
• Follow exact recipes, portion standards, and hygiene protocols.

Bar Operations

• Set up and close the bar daily, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Maintain stock levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Handle billing, POS operations, and cash/card payments accurately.
• Follow all safety, FSSAI, and hygiene standards.

Inventory & Reporting

• Assist with weekly inventory and stock rotation.
• Inform management of low stock, breakage, or equipment issues.
• Support with bar ordering and cost control as required.

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with the floor team and kitchen to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate guest feedback, issues, or delays promptly.
• Uphold the restaurant’s standards and contribute to overall service quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or barista (1–2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and basic coffee preparation.
• Good communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask under pressure.
• Basic POS handling and billing knowledge.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and presentable.
