Position -Autocad P&ID Designer

Department- Process Design and Lab - Mining 

Qualification -Diploma in chemical or Mechanical engineering 

Experience (In Years) -3 to 10 years experience

Reporting to -Team Lead

Job Responsibility (Primary)

• Developing Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Process Flow diagrams (PFD), Block Flow diagrams (UFD), in Autocad 
• Develop first draft based on the information provided by the Process Engineer. Carry out all drafting activities as per the Client requirement / Project Specification.
• Quality assurance as per Company’s Quality procedures. Keeping records and maintaining files of the issued drawing with relevant stamp.
• Need to refer drawings of other discipline/vendor drawings , co-ordinate and interface with engineers and manage the technical data during the development of P&ID.
• Conversant with Legend drawings and incorporation of same in P&IDs. Preparation of Line list , valve list , instrument list and equipment list etc (Data input/Verification)
• As Built drawing preparation. Performing all the duties assigned and directed by his Supervisor
• Technical Competency : Should have very good competency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to work in multiple projects and proposals.

Minimum Requirement : Diploma in chemical/mechanical with a minimum of 3 years of drafting (mainly P&ID) related experience preferable from a background in working for EPC organizations
