Job Description: Position -Autocad P&ID Designer Department- Process Design and Lab - Mining Qualification -Diploma in chemical or Mechanical engineering Experience (In Years) -3 to 10 years experience Reporting to -Team Lead Job Responsibility (Primary) Developing Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Process Flow diagrams (PFD), Block Flow diagrams (UFD), in Autocad Develop first draft based on the information provided by the Process Engineer. Carry out all drafting activities as per the Client requirement / Project Specification. Quality assurance as per Company’s Quality procedures. Keeping records and maintaining files of the issued drawing with relevant stamp. Need to refer drawings of other discipline/vendor drawings , co-ordinate and interface with engineers and manage the technical data during the development of P&ID. Conversant with Legend drawings and incorporation of same in P&IDs. Preparation of Line list , valve list , instrument list and equipment list etc (Data input/Verification) As Built drawing preparation. Performing all the duties assigned and directed by his Supervisor Technical Competency : Should have very good competency in AutoCAD. Ability to work in multiple projects and proposals. Minimum Requirement : Diploma in chemical/mechanical with a minimum of 3 years of drafting (mainly P&ID) related experience preferable from a background in working for EPC organizations
