Job Description

Picker and Packer Responsibilities : Picking: Locating and retrieving items from shelves or inventory locations based on customer orders. Packing: Preparing items for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials, packing them securely, and applying shipping labels. Scanning and Tracking: Using barcode scanners to track items picked and updated in inventory systems. Order Accuracy: Reviewing and verifying orders to ensure they are accurate and complete. Quality Control: Checking the quality of items and ensuring they are in good condition before packaging. Safety: Following safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents. Efficiency: Meeting productivity and quality standards to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently. Additional duties may include: Operating Equipment: Using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks to move items around the warehouse. Assisting with Loading: Helping to load packages onto trucks for delivery. Maintaining a Clean Work Environment: Keeping the warehouse area organized and free of hazards. Inventory Management: Updating inventory records and replenishing stock levels. Communication: Collaborating with team members and supervisors
