Job Description

Picking: Accurately select and gather products from warehouse locations based on customer orders. Packing: Securely pack items in appropriate boxes, using cushioning materials as needed, and prepare them for shipping. Labeling: Attach correct shipping labels, including order numbers and addresses, to packages. Quality control: Inspect products for defects or damage before packing and shipping. Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of picked and packed items, update inventory systems, and report any discrepancies. Warehouse maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Safety and compliance: Follow all safety regulations and procedures. Equipment operation: May operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery. Skills and qualifications Physical fitness: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items for extended periods. Attention to detail: Crucial for accurate picking, packing, and quality control. Organizational skills: Needed to manage inventory and maintain an organized workspace. Basic computer skills: Often required for inventory tracking systems. Time-management skills: Important for meeting shipping deadlines. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with other warehouse staff. Safety awareness: Must be able to follow safety protocols.
