Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Physics Teacher for our CBSE Secondary Section (Grades 6–10), with a focus on delivering clear, concept-driven physics instruction for middle and secondary learners. The ideal candidate will combine strong subject expertise with engaging pedagogy, practical lab skills, and the ability to inspire scientific curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with the CBSE physics syllabus for secondary grades, ensuring clarity of core concepts and scientific reasoning.
• Design and implement lesson plans that integrate theory with hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications.
• Manage the physics laboratory safely and efficiently, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Create assessments and learning materials that promote analytical thinking, problem solving, and conceptual understanding.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement remediation strategies where needed.
• Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to academic planning and curriculum development.
• Mentor and motivate students for science fairs, Olympiads, and other extracurricular science activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Physics or related field; B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE-affiliated schools.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Subject Expertise: Strong grasp of physics concepts, scientific method, and laboratory pedagogy.
• Teaching Style: Student-centric, inquiry-driven, and concept-focused with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Lab and Safety Skills: Experience managing school science labs and enforcing safety procedures.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital teaching tools, simulations, and smart classroom technology.
