PHP Yii2 Developer

LoreMine, Kochi is a Thirteen-year-old software development company engaged in developing web, cloud and mobile business solutions. We cater to clients from UK, US, South Africa, Australia, Canada and India right now.

We are looking for an experienced PHP Yii2 Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using the Yii2 framework, . The candidate should have strong backend development expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Build and maintain web applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services using Yii2 (and Laravel when required).
• Enhance, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.

Collaboration & Code Quality

• Work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain clean coding standards, and contribute to Agile development practices.

Database Management

• Design, maintain, and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite).
• Write efficient queries ensuring data integrity, scalability, and security.

Testing & Debugging

• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure product stability and reliability.
• Debug and resolve issues quickly to maintain high availability and performance.

Documentation & Deployment

• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, modules, and system processes.
• Manage deployments using version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on the Yii2 framework.
• Working experience with Laravel framework (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with React or Vue.js is a plus.
• Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQLite database systems.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Git, Composer, and NPM/Yarn.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit or Codeception).
• Strong grasp of OOP principles, MVC architecture, and secure coding practices.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education Requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹217,022.14 - ₹671,684.59 per year
