Job Title: Early Diagnostic Kit Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Early Diagnostic Kit Developer to design, develop, and validate rapid point-of-care diagnostic assays, with a focus on early-stage disease biomarkers. The role covers concept research, assay chemistry, prototype building, optimization, and transfer to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Assay Development

• Develop and optimize lateral flow, ELISA, and other immunoassay formats.

• Screen and validate antibody–antigen pairs, binding kinetics, and assay architecture.

• Perform AuNP/latex conjugation, buffer formulation, membrane tuning, and signal enhancement.

Biomarker Evaluation

• Assess biomarker suitability (sensitivity, specificity, LoD, matrix effects).

• Compare biomarker performance across clinical stages and sample types.

Prototyping & Engineering

• Create rapid prototypes of test strips/cassettes.

• Integrate sample pads, PSMs, nitrocellulose membranes, and absorbent systems.

Analytical & Clinical Validation

• Conduct LoD, precision, specificity, cross-reactivity, and stability studies.

• Coordinate clinical sample testing and interpret diagnostic performance.

Manufacturing & Scale-Up

• Transfer assays to manufacturing partners.

• Define QC parameters, batch-release standards, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Master’s/PhD in Biotech, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

• 2–5 years hands-on experience in immunoassay or lateral flow development.

• Expertise in antibody selection, assay optimization, and conjugation chemistry.

• Strong understanding of analytical validation and assay troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with whole-blood assays and plasma-separation membranes.

• Familiarity with ISO 13485, CDSCO/FDA requirements, and IVD documentation.

• Comfortable with experimental design, data analysis, and technical reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
