Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a PhD Researcher based at Tezpur University's campus with due collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in Assam. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research in the area of Hybrid MIG and Spot Welding, Solid state additive manufacturing and analyzing data, collaborating with academic advisors, and preparing research publications or reports. Additional responsibilities may include participating in academic conferences, mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to the university's broader research community. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge and expertise in the chosen research field. Proficiency in research methodologies, data collection, and data analysis techniques. Excellent writing and communication skills for drafting research papers and presenting findings. Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate within a team and with academic mentors. Familiarity with academic tools, software, and platforms relevant to the area of research. A Master’s degree in a related field is desirable; but B.Tech degree supported by good GATE score may also apply and may be considered for Integrated PhD program.
