Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of pharmacies across assigned branches/locations.

Ensure smooth functioning of retail outlets, including stock management, billing, and compliance.

Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize shortages, expiries, and pilferages.

Implement company SOPs and ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements. (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, etc..)

Drive sales growth and customer satisfaction through efficient processes and service.

Lead, train, and motivate the pharmacy staff to achieve operational excellence.

Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and warehouse teams for timely replenishment.

Review financial performance, sales targets, and profitability of pharmacy units.

Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely availability of medicines and consumables.

Handle audits, compliance checks, and ensure quality standards across all pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in any stream

Minimum 10-20 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy Operations/Retail Chain Management

Strong knowledge of pharmacy retail operations, inventory control and statutory regulations.
