Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel. Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. Oversee medication dispensing processes to ensure accuracy and patient safety. Manage the pharmacy's inventory and ensure proper storage of medications. Develop and implement policies and procedures for pharmacy operations. Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to protocols and standards. Maintain records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation. Educate and mentor pharmacy staff on best practices and new developments. Monitor the performance metrics and financial health of the pharmacy. Ensure the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare. Develop and enforce standard operational procedures . Manage billing, purchase entry, documentation and report generation. Maintain proper records of controlled and hight-risk drugs. Maintain stock level and place orders to avoid shortage. Prevent medication error by reviewing prescriptions for accuracy. Implement polices to maintain high standards of pharmacy services. Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical practices and technologies. Ensure cost-effective purchasing and inventory control.
