Job Description

You will be responsible for the following key tasks as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators in the Mumbai region. - Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations to educate healthcare providers about our innovative pharmaceutical offerings. - Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing effective, customer-focused sales strategies. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. - Attend medical conferences, seminars, and trade shows to expand product knowledge and network with industry professionals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for customers. - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM software. - Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies. - Travel extensively within the Mumbai region to meet with clients and prospects. - Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making. - Provide regular reports on sales activities, market insights, and competitor information to management. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. - Excellent negotiation and sales techniques. - In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Exceptional time management and organizational skills. - Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry trends. - Knowledge of local healthcare systems and regulations in India. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Mumbai region. - Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Hindi, Marathi) is a plus. - Strong presentation and public speaking skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs. - Ethical approach to sales and compliance with industry standards. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. - Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
