Shree Bafna Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to secondary and sr. students (Classes IX to XII), fostering a deep understanding of the subject, and preparing them for board examinations and future academic pursuits. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured and engaging Chemistry lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Instructional Strategies: Employ a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, discussions, experiments, demonstrations, and technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles. Practical Skills: Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions, ensuring students develop strong practical skills and a thorough understanding of chemical concepts through experimentation. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer formative and summative assessments, including tests, assignments, and projects, to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Remedial Support: Identify students requiring additional support and implement appropriate strategies to address their learning needs. Student Guidance: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their interest in Chemistry and supporting their academic goals. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and progress. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other teachers, the school administration, and parents to ensure the holistic development of students. Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in Chemistry education and actively participate in professional development opportunities. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment that promotes student engagement and respect. Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and contribute to school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to science. Qualifications and Experience: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is mandatory. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a PGT in Chemistry, preferably in a CBSE school. Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and examination patterns for senior secondary Chemistry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning. A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
