Job Description

Shree Bafna Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spoken English Teacher to enhance the conversational English skills of our students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective spoken English classes that improve fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence in using English for communication. This role requires a strong command of the English language, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying levels. Responsibilities: Deliver Engaging Spoken English Classes: Conduct dynamic and interactive spoken English sessions to students of different age groups and proficiency levels. Focus on Practical Communication: Emphasize practical communication skills through activities such as conversations, role-playing, discussions, and presentations. Improve Pronunciation and Fluency: Provide targeted instruction and practice to enhance students' pronunciation, intonation, and overall fluency in spoken English. Build Vocabulary for Spoken Communication: Introduce and reinforce relevant vocabulary that students can readily use in everyday conversations. Reinforce Grammar in Spoken Contexts: Integrate grammar concepts naturally within spoken English practice activities. Create a Supportive and Interactive Learning Environment: Foster a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere where students feel confident to participate actively and practice speaking English. Assess and Monitor Student Progress: Observe and assess students' progress in spoken English through participation and informal assessments. Provide Constructive Feedback: Offer helpful and specific feedback to students on their spoken English performance, guiding them towards improvement. Utilize Varied Teaching Techniques: Employ a range of interactive teaching methods, resources, and materials to cater to different learning styles and maintain student engagement. Collaborate with School Staff: Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff members to support the overall English language development of students. Maintain Classroom Discipline: Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a productive learning environment. Qualifications and Requirements: Fluency in English (native or near-native proficiency) with clear pronunciation. Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in teaching spoken English to students. Strong understanding of effective spoken English teaching methodologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Ability to motivate and encourage students to speak English confidently. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching. Basic computer literacy. Prior experience working in a school environment is an advantage.
