Job Title: Personal Secretary to Managing Director (MD)Location: ChennaiReports To: Managing Director Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and professional Personal Secretary to support our Managing Director (MD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling confidential information, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring smooth communication between internal and external stakeholders. This role requires discretion, efficiency, and a proactive approach to daily administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain the MD’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.Coordinate and schedule meetings, ensuring proper preparation and follow-ups.Handle confidential documents and correspondence with the highest level of discretion.Act as the point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and inquiries for the MD.Organize and maintain an efficient filing system for easy retrieval of documents.Assist in preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes when required.Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the MD. Qualifications & Requirements: Must be proficient in typewriting with excellent speed and accuracy.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Personal Secretary, Executive Assistant, or similar role.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of business communication.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong typing skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a presentable appearance.Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. Preferred Skills: Experience working with senior executives or C-level management.Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.Familiarity with corporate etiquette and business communication.Employment Type: Full-time
