Permit Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Permit Account Manager with a strong background in telecommunications who collaborate closely with jurisdictions and internal teams to ensure the timely submission and acquisition of permits. This role involves working with local, state, and federal jurisdictions to resolve conflicts and track multiple concurrent permit submissions. A deep understanding of telecom engineering and construction management processes is essential to deliver permits on time.

Key

• Complete dashboards and reporting for both high-level reviews and daily team use.
• Assist in resolving client escalations and offer permitting expertise.
• Offer feedback and process improvement suggestions to the Senior Manager and co- permit managers.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with engineering teams to recommend and implement permitting solutions.

• Drive and advocate for updated policies and processes across the team.
• Review and approve billing for permitting and site acquisition in designated markets.
• Evaluate jurisdictional conformance checks and communicate action plans to the Senior Manager.
• Develop and manage permitting strategies, including enhancing permit efficiency for routine acquisitions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on federal, state, and local codes and ordinances related to proposed installations.
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of overall experience and at least 3 year in Permitting, with a strong understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in computer and reporting skills, particularly with MS Excel and other project management and tracking tools.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume project environment.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive under aggressive project schedules in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
