Job Title: Land Surveyor/Engineer I/Engineer II Location: Gurgaon/Mohali Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background knowledge in land surveying with Civil engineering expertise. Responsibilities include conducting surveys, analysing data, and providing accurate measurements and assessments for various land development projects. The candidate should be capable of training and managing survey technicians. Must communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. The role involves creating topographic models and as-built engineering design surveys. Proficiency in using AutoCAD and other relevant software is required. A thorough understanding of various surveying and engineering principles is essential. Responsibilities: Train and manage survey technicians on survey practices and deliverables. Communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written formats. Create and correct topographic models using specialized tools/software. Conduct as-built engineering surveys to accurately capture existing conditions. Use AutoCAD for drafting, designing, and generating detailed survey drawings. Understand and work with land title concepts (legal descriptions, boundaries, ownership rights). Implement field procedures to collect and process survey data. Apply horizontal and vertical datums to meet project requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of utility infrastructure and mapping techniques. Use mathematics (geometry, trigonometry, calculus) relevant to surveying and engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Surveying Engineering, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in land surveying, with demonstrated proficiency in surveying techniques, equipment, and software. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant surveying software. Strong understanding of land title concepts, field procedures, horizontal and vertical datums, and utility infrastructure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to train and manage survey technicians effectively. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred not to mandate.
