Performance Tester

Role Overview: As a Load Test Engineer, your main responsibility will be to design, execute, and analyze performance and load tests for complex, large-scale applications. You will play a crucial role in identifying and diagnosing performance bottlenecks and collaborating with various teams to ensure high-performing systems for top-tier enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop performance test strategies, plans, and scripts using JMeter and other modern load testing tools like Gatling, Locust, k6, BlazeMeter. - Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests across multiple application layers (web, API, database). - Identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks in applications, infrastructure, and integrations. - Collaborate with DevOps, developers, architects, and QA teams to tune system performance. - Automate test execution and integrate with CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance validation. - Generate comprehensive test reports, dashboards, and actionable insights for stakeholders. - Stay updated on emerging performance engineering practices, cloud-native performance testing, and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus. - Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray). - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
