Role Overview

• Understand performance test requirements and convert them into test scenarios and scripts.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter or similar tools.
• Execute different types of performance tests including load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Monitor application and server behavior during performance tests using tools such as Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DBAs, and system engineers to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and share detailed reports with recommendations for performance improvements.
• Participate in root cause analysis and support optimization discussions.
• Contribute to integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (basic exposure is sufficient).

Required Skills & Experience

• 34 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing.
• Strong practical experience with

  JMeter

  (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of at least one additional tool such as LoadRunner or Neoload (preferred, not mandatory).
• Good understanding of performance testing concepts: workload modeling, SLAs, ramp-up/ramp-down, throughput, response time, etc.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and microservices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar.
• Basic working knowledge of application architectures such as Java, WebLogic/Tomcat, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes (good to have).
• Experience with SQL queries and basic database performance analysis (Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server).
• Understanding of logs, CPU/memory utilization, thread behavior, GC logs, etc. (basic to intermediate level).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neoload.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Prior experience in BFSI or large-scale enterprise applications is a plus.
