Performance Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience in

  LoadRunner (mandatory)

  and

  JMeter

• Develop & execute scripts using multiple protocols
  
• Configure & monitor

  APM tools

  (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Wily)
• Monitor infrastructure: JVM, DB connections, threads, JMS queues, modules
  
• Prepare performance strategy, test scenarios, estimates & plans
  
• Analyse test results and provide engineering-level recommendations
  
• Work with BA/DEV/Infra teams to resolve performance bottlenecks
  
• Monitor applications on

  WebSphere, JBoss, IIS

• Support performance testing for

  cloud and DevOps-based applications

Technical Skills Required

• Performance Testing & Engineering (7–9 years)
  
• LoadRunner scripting (mandatory)
  
• JMeter
  
• Dynatrace / AppDynamics / Wily Introscope
  
• SPLUNK, Kibana
  
• Strong knowledge of:
  

• J2EE, AJAX, .NET, SOA

• Oracle

  , SQL, PL/SQL

• Message Queues

  , Web Services, SOAP, XML
• Experience in high availability systems
  
• Basic understanding of

  Cloud

  DevOps

  pipelines (added advantage)
