Job Description

As a member of Nokia's NI Delivery & Operations within Global Customer Engineering, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of IP transport professional services, including network design, solution validation, implementation, and customer acceptance. Collaborating with Product Line Managers and Subject Matter Experts, you will ensure timely and quality delivery of services to meet customer requirements. You Have: Fluent English CommunicationProficient in both spoken and written English for effective communication and documentation. Field Experience with Nokia IP Transport ProductsHands-on experience with Nokia's Network Management Systems, particularly in DWDM (PSS/OTN). Software Installation & IntegrationProven ability to install, integrate, and migrate Network Management Systems, with basic troubleshooting capabilities. Knowledge of Transport TechnologiesFamiliarity with various transport technologies such as DWDM, SDH, Ethernet (EoSDH and MPLS-TP), and GMPLS. Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders. Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications EngineeringFormal education in telecommunications or a related field. 35 Years of Directly Related ExperienceDemonstrated experience in transport networks, aligning with the responsibilities of the role. It would be nice if you also had: AI and Machine Learning KnowledgeUnderstanding of AI/ML applications in networking, including network optimization and automation. CertificationsCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certifications are advantageous. Provide independent optimization support for customer network rollouts and modernization, including analysis, testing, tuning, feature activation, monitoring, and optimization activities. Conduct Minimization of Drive Test (MDT) and Layer 3 trace analysis to assess network performance and identify areas for improvement. Effectively utilize design and measurement tools, including internal and external troubleshooting tools, to analyze and resolve network issues. Proactively automate repetitive optimization tasks to reduce analysis time and enhance efficiency. Consult on and develop medium to complex network configuration files, capacity planning, network interface analysis, and advanced product dimensioning/solutioning. Advise on coverage, capacity, Quality of Experience (QoE), and Quality of Service (QoS) optimization impacts on site/cell or software feature parameters. Organize and execute field measurements and laboratory tests to validate network performance and configurations. Act as the primary escalation point for customer and performance network audits, providing problem-solving expertise and supporting Product Line Managers (PLMs) during offer phases to clarify needs, assess feasibility, and identify associated efforts and costs.
