Performance Engineer — B737-800 Freighter (BCF)

About the role

We’re expanding our flight ops team to sharpen payload, runway, and dispatch performance on the B737-800BCF across India and near-international sectors.

What you’ll do

• Build and validate take-off/ landing performance (dry/ wet/ contaminated), obstacle-limited and runway-limited analyses using AFM/SCAP.

• Own payload-range, MEL/ CDL performance penalties, and special procedures (NOTAM/ engine-out escape, noise abatement).

• Maintain airport & runway databases; publish runway analysis/RTOW for daily ops and ad-hoc charters.

• Partner with IOCC/Dispatch on sector feasibility, diversions, and W&B for freighter configurations.

• Support commercial quotes with rapid performance feasibility (block time, RTOW, route/weather limits).

• Drive data quality: automate checks and produce monthly TDR/performance insights for Flight Ops & Safety.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s in Aeronautical/ Mechanical (or equivalent) with 3–7 years in aircraft performance (preferably B737NG).

• Hands-on with SCAP/ RTOW tools (e.g., APG, Jeppesen OpsData, NAVBLUE/Lido).

• Strong Excel/VBA (Python a plus), meticulous AFM/FCOM usage, and ops judgement.

• Familiarity with DGCA CARs, FDTL interfaces, and cargo W&B.

Nice to have

• Freighter experience (pallet/ULD W&B), airport obstacle survey interpretation, basic ETOPS/EDTO awareness.
