Peoplesoft Administrator

Role & responsibilities

Plan and Perform PeopleSoft technical administration functions, including upgrades/updates, environment refreshes, data/code/configuration object migrations, triage PeopleSoft web/app domain issues and performance issues in non-production and production environments
* Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft infrastructure supporting tools (e.g. WebLogic, Tuxedo, Java, and MicroFocus COBOL)• Partner and collaborate with project teams through the development lifecycle, including planning, environment build, testing support, and deployments• Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)• Support after-business hours releases as required.• Support other applications environments as directed.• Partner with Infrastructure teams to ensure servers meet patching compliance standards.• Participate in shift rotations to cover 24/7 operations.

Preferred candidate profile

2+ years of technical experience in PeopleSoft Architecture and either PeopleSoft HCM or PeopleSoft FSCM Application administration; including PeopleTools 8.5x, PeopleSoft Infrastructure, Integration Broker configuration and monitoring, Process Scheduler maintenance, PeopleSoft Query security, and executing work plans for applying PeopleSoft updates and patches through PeopleSoft Change Assistant and PeopleSoft Update Manager.
 *working experience in windows admin, Linux * working knowledge in basic scripting ( how to read the scripts, running, basic trouble shooting etc). preferance to powershell or shell scripting* Working experience setting up integration to and from PeopleSoft systems, hands-on Oracle DBMS SQL, and administrating the PHIRE migration tool (or) working understanding of similar migration tool * Experience in supporting applications on Linux and/or Windows platforms including installations, configurations, upgrades, day-to-day support, and troubleshooting application issues, with System Administration knowledge.* Production Support operation experience, willing to work in rotaional shifts.
